Shift Board: Key Features

The Shift Board is an optional feature that you may use according to your scheduling needs. Here are some key aspects of the feature if you decide to use it.

Site-based Feature: The Shift Board is a site-based feature. This means you will need to enable it for each site where you will use it. This allows for flexibility as not all sites will be managed the same way.

Shift Offers: You can send shifts to the Shift Board one by one or publish the schedule. If applicable, an option will be available to move all vacant shifts or conflicted shifts to the Shift Board.

Permissions: Shift Board is a permission set, so you do not have to give it to all employees. You can give permissions both for posting on the Shift Board or to view the Shift Board itself.

Personalized View: Employees will be able to view the Shift Board from their own web portal. Their viewpoint of the Shift Board will be unique to them and prepared following the criteria:

employee’s skill set, resting hour (if applicable), and no conflict of schedules.

Auto Assignment: Shift Board shifts can be auto-assigned to the employee that requests it or registered as a request for the shift needing approval. This option is permission-based and will allow you to automate even more of your processes.
