Learn how to set up TrackTik to give your staff the flexibility of converting Runsheet events to Site Tasks
Overview
Unexpected situations arise that can negatively impact your ability to assist your clients. Converting Runsheet events to Site Tasks gives your team adaptability to have your on-site team cover for your patrol team when necessary.
Before you start
Here are some things you must do before you start:
- You need to have the Site Tasks feature configured in your portal.
- The Mobile Patrol feature needs to be configured in your portal.
Configure the Portal setting
From the main screen of your portal, choose Settings
- Select General Settings
- Select Portal Settings
- Select Create setting
- Select Runsheets
- Select Convert Runsheet Events to Site Tasks
- Save
You now have the flexibility of converting your Runsheet Events to Site Tasks.
Set the required permissions
From the main screen of your portal, choose Settings
- Select Roles/Permissions
- Select the role (Admin or Staff) which needs the permission
- Note: best practice is to provide this permission to all staff who might be affected (admin roles, mobile patrol, and onsite staff)
- Select Mobileplus
- Select Can convert Runsheet Events to Site Tasks
The selected role will now have the ability to convert Runsheet Events to Site Tasks when needed.
Update your Job Types
Update any applicable runsheet Job Type by going to
- Settings
- View All
- Job / Service Types
- You can either create a new Job Type by selecting Create New or edit an existing one by choosing Edit Info
- Select both Schedulable (Runsheet) and Schedulable (Site Task).
You can now convert this Job Type from a runsheet event to a site task when needed.
