When a shift is approved by its clocked hours and there is no clocked break the approved hours will include the full worked hours.
If you approve via the scheduled hours
- The breaks will be paid/subtracted based off the scheduled break times of the shift.
If you approve via clocked hours:
- The breaks will be paid/subtracted based off the actual breaks logged on the shift.
Example:
If you have an 8-hour shift with a scheduled 30-minute break with a position that does not pay breaks and don't log a break.
- If you were to approve for 8 hours via scheduled, it would automatically subtract 30 mins.
- If you were to approve via clocked hours, it would approve for 8 hours since no break was logged.
