Learn how to archive labels you no longer use in TrackTik’s labeling system.
Overview
Archiving labels allows you to ensure organizational compliance without negatively impacting previously generated data. Archived labels cannot be associated with any new positions but remain accessible to generate any necessary data.
Before you start
Here are some things you must do before you start:
- Configure labeling on your portal by following the steps in Configure Labeling.
- Have some previously created labels.
Archive a label
To archive:
- Go to Settings
- Select Entity Labels under Operation Configurations.
- Choose an existing label
- Change the status to Archive.
- Select Save.
The label is archived and won’t be available when creating new positions.
Reactivate a previously archived label
To reactivate a previously archived label:
- Go to Settings
- Select Entity Labels under Operation Configurations.
- Select Archived from the drop-down menu.
- Choose a label.
- Change the status to Active.
- Select Save.
The label is now active and can be applied to new positions.
