Employees using the TT-Shift app can view their leave balances and history—even if they don’t have permission to request, edit, or cancel leave.
This helps teams monitor leave usage while keeping request workflows restricted.
Why this matters
This enhancement helps organizations that want to:
- Give employees visibility into their leave usage.
- Avoid premature rollout of leave request workflows.
- Maintain control over leave management while still offering transparency.
What you can see
If your organization has enabled Leave Management but disabled the “Request Leave” permission, you’ll still be able to:
- View your leave accruals.
- See your leave history.
- Track how much leave you’ve used.
What you can’t do
When the “Request Leave” permission is turned off:
- You won’t see buttons to request, edit, or cancel leave.
- The Leave Management screen becomes view-only.
Admin setup
Admins don’t need to configure anything new. This behavior uses the existing Leave Management permission structure:
- If “Request Leave” is disabled, TT-Shift automatically switches to view-only mode.
- No changes are needed in the portal or API.
