Break Management Notifications

Notifications are emails or text messages that you receive when specific system actions occur. Some examples of triggers include late clock-ins and missed breaks.

 

To begin setting up notifications:

  1. Click on the Settings tile.
  2. Click on the Notifications section under General Configurations.

 

Late Clock In

This notification is triggered when an employee is late for their shift based on the grace period in the general settings (General configurations).

 

Break Management

In addition to the Notifications section under General Configurations, the following are available at the account level (Site, Zone, Department).

  • Missed Break: This notification will trigger when a user misses a break during their shift. Always triggers at the end of shift, per total, per break type.
  • Longer Break: This notification will trigger when a user takes a longer break than scheduled. It always triggers at the end of the shift, per type.
  • Shorter Break: This notification will be triggered when a user takes a shorter break than scheduled. It always triggers at the end of the shift, per total, per break type.
  • Late Break: This notification will trigger when a user takes a late break during a shift. It will trigger immediately, per the condition, once the user finishes their break session.
  • Earlier Break: This notification is triggered when a user takes an earlier break than scheduled. It triggers immediately, per condition, once the user finishes their break session.
  • Unscheduled Break - (For Scheduled Shifts Only): This notification triggers when a user takes an unscheduled break. Triggers immediately, per type, once the user finishes their break session.
