Review, filter, and download your vendor history

Learn where to locate and review, filter, and download your vendor history in Vendor Management.


 

Overview

Keep your Vendor Management team accountable and encourage transparency by auditing how your vendors are managed by checking out vendor history. It’s also possible to download and share your vendor history with stakeholders.

Before you start 

Here are some things you must do before you start:

  • As an admin, manager, or supervisor, you must turn on specific roles and permissions for your admin portal roles:
    1. Log into your TrackTik Portal.
    2. Go to Settings > Roles & Security > Admin Portal Roles > Administrator.
    3. Select the Audit History folder.
    4. Turn on View Vendor Management Audit History.

 

Locating your Vendor Management history

To start reviewing your Vendor Management history, you must locate it.

To locate your Vendor Management history:

  1. Log into your TrackTik Portal.
  2. Go to Sites (Client) > Vendor Management.
  3. Select View.
  4. Choose History.

A history of vendor actions shows where you can see details for each:

  • Date
    The date and time the action happened.
  • UserID
    The ID of the user doing the action.
  • User
    The name of the user doing the action.
  • Action
    The type of action:
    • ASSIGN
    • CHANGE
    • CREATE
    • UNASSIGN

  • Field
    The name of the field that changed for the vendor:
    • STATUS
    • INFO
    • CITY
    • JOB TYPE

  • Original Value
    The status of the vendor before a change was made.
  • New Value
    The status of the vendor after a change was made.

Action and Field columns work together to create meaning in your vendor history:

  Action Field
Create a new vendor CREATE INFO
Edit a vendor CHANGE INFO
Assign a new service to a vendor ASSIGN JOB TYPE
Unassign a service from a vendor UNASSIGN JOB TYPE
Assign a city to a vendor ASSIGN CITY
Unassign a city to a vendor UNASSIGN CITY
Archive a vendor CHANGE STATUS
Activate a vendor CHANGE STATUS

Filter your Vendor Management history

To efficiently find the details you need about your Vendor Management history, you can use four different filters:

  • Select and ACTION type drop-down menu
    Select an action type to filter by it.
  • Select a FIELD drop-down menu
    Select a field to filter by it.
  • Date range picker
    Select a preset period or create your own to filter by it.
  • Type to filter box
    Enter a user ID to filter by it.

Download your Vendor Management history

To download your Vendor Management history, select the Options drop-down menu, and choose a format:

  • CSV
  • Excel 95/97
  • Excel 2007
