Archive or restore a vendor in Vendor Management

Learn how to archive or restore a vendor in Vendor Management.


 

Overview

To give you more convenience, you can archive or restore a vendor without having to contact the TrackTik Support team.

Before you start 

Here are some things you must do before you start:

  • As an admin, manager, or supervisor, you must turn on specific roles and permissions for your admin portal roles:
    1. Log into your TrackTik Portal.
    2. Go to Settings > Roles & Security > Admin Portal Roles > Administrator.
    3. Select the VendorDispatch folder.
    4. Turn on Allow the ability to archive and restore a Vendor.

Archive or restore vendors in Vendor Management

You might want to archive a vendor or welcome a vendor back by making them active again. In Vendor Management, you can do both.

To archive or restore a vendor:

  1. Log into your TrackTik Portal.
  2. Go to Sites (Client) > Vendor Management.
    To archive a vendor quickly, you can also select the X icon.

  3. Select View.
  4. Select Edit.

  5. In the Status dropdown menu, choose a status:
    • Active
      The vendor is active.
    • Archived
      The vendor is archived.

  6. Select Save.

Depending on your selection, the vendor is now archived or active.
