Using the Asset Tracking Setup Wizard

Learn how to use the Asset Tracking Setup Wizard.


To get you started on your Asset Tracking journey, you can use the Setup Wizard. After setting up the feature, the Setup Wizard is available when you log in for the first time.


> Using the Setup Wizard isn’t mandatory; you can create Assets anytime.


Before you start

Here are some things you must do before you start:


Using the Asset Tracking Setup Wizard

With the Asset Tracking Setup Wizard, you can create your first assets immediately. There are multiple asset categories and assets to choose from:

  • Security & Access Control
    • Key Cards
    • Keys
    • Key Chains
  • Safety Equipment
    • First Aid Kit
    • Fire Extinguishers
  • Vehicles & Parts
    • Vehicle
  • Audiovisual Equipment
    • TV
  • Security Equipment
    • Uniforms
  • IT equipment
    • Laptops
  • Supplies
    • Chairs
    • Electronic Cleaners


To start using the Asset Tracking Setup Wizard:

  1. Log into your Asset Tracking Portal.

  2. Select all the assets you want to add from the list of Asset Types.

  3. Select IMPORT.

  4. Select + REGISTER ASSET.

  5. Enter the information for the Asset.

  6. Select SAVE.

You can now view your Asset.
