Enable or disable SMS notifications

Overview

TrackTik's SMS notifications provide real-time alerts and updates to mobile devices, ensuring critical information is delivered promptly and enabling swift incident response. This immediacy helps minimize risks and improve overall safety. Additionally, SMS notifications can be customized to suit specific needs, allowing for targeted communication that keeps all team members informed and coordinated. 

Enable or disable SMS notifications for your Portal

You can enable or disable SMS notifications in your Features settings. Changing this setting will apply to all Regions and Sub-regions. 

  • Click Settings
  • Select View All
  • Choose Features
  • Scroll to SMS Notifications
    • Click the toggle ON or OFF 

Note: If you override the SMS toggle at a subregion, you will need to adjust it again to ensure it matches the Portal status. For example, if you turn SMS notifications off at the portal level and then turn them back on in a particular subregion, you will have to go back to that subregion to turn them off.
