Overview
You can control whether mobile users can access particular sites to work by using Mobile App Login Restrictions. You can set a policy restricting users to working at only sites to which they are assigned, manage this restriction at the site level, or allow any of your mobile users to access a site (whether they are assigned or not).
Set access restrictions at the portal level
You can create an access policy that will apply to all your client sites at the portal level. In your TrackTik portal:
- Select Settings
- Choose View All
- Click General
- Under Category, choose View All
- Choose an option from the Mobile App Login Restrictions drop-down
- Not restricted by account - mobile users can access sites whether or not they've been assigned.
- Must be assigned to account - mobile users are restricted to accessing only sites where they have been assigned.
- Click SAVE DEFAULTS
Set access restrictions at the site level
You can create an access policy that will apply to individual client sites based on your needs. In your TrackTik portal:
- Select Sites (Client)
- Choose the site you want to manage
- Click View
- Select Security & Patrol
- Under Patrol Menu, choose Mobile App Restrictions
- Choose an option from the Mobile App Login Restrictions drop-down
- Use default - follow the rule established in your portal settings.
- Not restricted by account - mobile users can access sites whether or not they've been assigned.
- Must be assigned to account - mobile users are restricted to accessing only sites where they have been assigned.
- Click SAVE DEFAULTS
