Android Devices

OS and TT version-specific known limitations
- Android OS11 introduces breaking changes to how pictures are saved. Works on v5.8.14 or higher.
- Google introduced android OS8 and above, new security restrictions. The TT app needs to be used for GPS coordinates to be recorded. When the app is terminated, TrackTik will send no tracks to the portal.
- HTTPS is enforced since Android v5.8.14.
- HTTPS is enforced since iOS v3.8.1.
Unstable background services management. The error "TrackTik app has stopped" appears more often.
A note about usage: A mobile user working full time (40 hours a week) using the phone at normal usage is around 750 MBs to 1 GB per month.
