Control content in your Summary Reports

Learn how to exclude or include content for your daily, shift, weekly, and tour reports.

Overview 

Improve the readability of your summary reports by excluding or including specific content at multiple levels:

  • HQ
  • Region
  • Site and zone settings
  • Site and zone notification settings

At each level, you can control the content for four report types:

  • Shift Summary Reports
  • Daily Site Summary Reports
  • Weekly Reports
  • Patrol Tour Reports

In these reports, you can control up to nine types of content:

  • Include Reports
  • Include Checkpoint Scans Data
  • Include Checkpoint Question
  • Include Tour Comments / Pictures
  • Include Clock-in / Clock-out
  • Include Break Session Start
  • Include Break Session End
  • Include Shift report’s videos
  • Include Changed Position

Control content defaults at the HQ or region level

To control the content that’s included in your Summary Reports at the HQ or region level:

  1. Log into your TrackTik Portal.
  2. Select Settings > General.
  3. In the Category menu, select Summary Reports.
  4. In the System Settings area, select Yes to include the content or No to exclude the content by default.
    All content defaults are set to Yes (Default Settings), except Include Clock-In / Clock Out content; this is set to No (Default Settings).

  5. Select SAVE.

If you select No, the specified content is no longer shown in your regional Summary Reports.

Control content defaults at the site level

To control the content that’s included in your Summary Reports at the site level:

  1. Log into your TrackTik Portal.
  2. Select Sites (Client).
  3. In the same row of the site you want to get the Summary Report for, select View.
  4. Choose Settings.
  5. In the Staffing Menu, select Defaults.
  6. In the Site (Client) wide Defaults area, select Yes to include the content or No to exclude the content by default.

  7. Select SAVE DEFAULTS.

If you select No, the specified content is no longer shown in your client site Summary Reports. If a site is a multi-site, all defaults apply to your sub-sites.

Control content defaults at the zone level

To control the content that’s included in your Summary Reports at the zone level:

  1. Log into your TrackTik Portal.
  2. Hover over Sites (Client).
  3. Select Site Zones (Groups).
  4. In the same row of the zone you want to get the Summary Report for, select View.
  5. Choose Notifications.
  6. In Operations Reports, select Daily & Shift Report or Weekly Report.
  7. From the dropdown menus, select the content you want to exclude or include.

  8. Select SAVE SETTINGS.
With a zone license, if a user does tasks at a site where you changed the content settings at the zone level, this removes the content details from the summary report, even if the setting at the site level is different.

Control content in Daily & Shift Report

In the Operation Report area, you can choose to exclude or include content for your Shift Summary Reports and Daily Site Summary Reports.

If you set your content preferences at this level, it overrides all other settings.

Control content in Shift Summary Reports

To exclude or include content for Shift Summary Reports:

  1. Log into your TrackTik Portal.
  2. Select Sites (Client).
  3. In the same row of the site you want to get the operation report for, select View.
  4. Select Notifications.

  5. In the Operation Reports area, select Daily & Shift Report.

  6. In the Shift Summary Reports area, select Yes to include the content or No to exclude the content.

If you select No, the specified content is no longer shown in your Shift Summary Reports from the level that’s shown next to your selection.

 

Control content in Daily Site Summary Reports

To exclude or include content for Daily Site Summary Reports:

  1. Log into your TrackTik Portal.
  2. Select Sites (Client).
  3. In the same row of the site you want to get the operation report for, select View.
  4. Select Notifications.

If you select No, the specified content is no longer shown in your Shift Summary Reports from the level that’s shown next to your selection.

Control content in Weekly Report

To exclude or include content for Weekly Summary Report Notifications:

  1. Log into your TrackTik Portal.
  2. Select Sites (Client).
  3. In the same row of the site you want to get the operation report for, select View.
  4. Select Notifications.

If you select No, the specified content is no longer shown in your Shift Summary Reports from the level that’s shown next to your selection.

Your past reports are also affected by your content choices.
