Learn how to archive a report or restore an archived report.

Overview 

With the right permissions turned on, you can archive reports, see archived reports, and restore archived reports in your TrackTik Portal.

Before you start

Here are some things you must do before you start:

  • You must have the Delete a report permission turned on for Admin Portal Roles or Staff Portal Roles. To turn on the Delete a report permission:
    1. Log into your TrackTik Portal.
    2. Go to Settings > Roles/Permissions > select a role.
    3. Select the Patrol folder.
    4. Choose Delete a report.

Archive a report

You can archive reports as needed, or you can check out which reports are already archived.

To archive a report:

  1. Log into your TrackTik Portal.
  2. Go to Sites (Client) > select a site > Operation Reports > Reports.
  3. Select the X icon.

    The X icon only shows for reports that aren’t archived.
  4. Choose Save.

The report is now archived.

Restore an archived report 

If you accidentally archived a report, you can get it back by restoring it.

To restore an archived report:

  1. Log into your TrackTik Portal.
  2. Go to Sites (Client) > select a site > Operation Reports > Reports.
  3. Select Restore report.

    The Restore report button only shows reports that were previously archived.
  4. Choose Save.

The report is now restored.
