Access control by pay schedule

Previously, any administrator with the “Prepare Payroll” permission could process all pay schedules in their region.

Now, only explicitly assigned administrators can manage specific pay schedules.

 

Why this matters

  • Improved security and accountability in payroll operations.
  • Only authorized personnel can access and process specific pay schedules.
  • Reduced the risk of errors or unauthorized changes.

 

How to enable the feature

  1. Go to Settings → Features.
  2. Locate the setting Control Pay Schedule Access.
  3. Toggle it ON.

Note: The default setting is OFF to avoid disrupting existing workflows.

 

How to assign admins to pay schedules

  1. Navigate to Settings → Payroll Schedules.
  2. Click the Assign Admins button.
  3. In the modal titled Choose Admins to manage this pay schedule, select eligible admin users.
  4. Confirm your selection.

Only users with “Super User” or “Main Administrator” roles can perform this assignment.
