Learn how to submit a Leave Request as an admin or manager in Back Office Suite.
Overview
To help with your Leave Management needs, you can submit a Leave Request as an admin or manager on your employees' behalf.
Submit a Leave Request for an employee
You can submit Leave Requests for an employee in the Leave Management tab.
To submit a Leave Request for an employee:
- Log into your TrackTik Portal as an administrator or manager.
- Select Employees.
- In the Type to filter box, enter the employee name you want to submit a Leave Request for and select View.
- Choose the Leave Management tab.
- Select Log Employee Leave.
- Choose a Leave Type, the start and end leave date, time, and enter a reason for the Leave Request in the Reason box.
Keep in mind
If there's a scheduled shift:- You can push the conflict to Open Shift, and another available employee can take the shift through TrackTik SHIFT.
- You can also pick an employee to schedule the Open Shift to.
- Any approved requests with balances require Paid Time Off (PTO) to be created.
- Once a Leave Request is approved, these days are blocked for the employee in the schedule and Open Shift; you can’t assign the employee to any shifts during that period.
- If a Leave Request is declined, the employee can be scheduled, and the leave balance is adjusted.
- Select SAVE.
The employee is notified in TrackTik SHIFT about the schedule change.
