Learn how to turn read-only mode for Leave Requests in Back Office Suite on or off.
Overview
As an admin or manager, you can control if leave requests appear read-only to employees in the TrackTik SHIFT App. This helps to keep boundaries in place for scheduling. For example, if you turn on read-only mode, employees can’t create or edit their leave requests in the TrackTik SHIFT App.
By default, read only mode is turned off.
Turn on or off read-only mode for Leave Requests
To turn on or off read-only mode:
- Log into your TrackTik Portal.
- Select Settings.
- Under General Configurations, select Portal Settings.
- Select Create Setting.
If you’ve already created a leave request setting, select Edit and skip to step 6.
- From the drop-down menu in the Select setting modal, choose LEAVE-REQUEST.
- Choose Yes in the Activate read-only mode (for UI only) drop-down.
To turn off read only mode for Leave Requests, choose No.
- Select Save.
If you selected Yes, the read-only mode is now turned on for future leave requests. If you selected No, the read-only mode is now turned off for future leave requests.
