Assets link automatically when shifts are created from a shift template. It helps guards know what equipment they need before starting their shift and supports operators with full oversight in Command Center.
How It Works
Assets on the Shift Template
Assets are now configured directly in the shift template.
When you roll out the schedule and the shifts are generated, the assigned assets are automatically linked to every shift created from that template.
Adding Assets Manually
Sometimes, a shift needs an extra asset only for a one‑time scenario.
You can add these manually from the Shift Info pop‑up.
This does not change the template — it applies only to that specific shift.
Asset Visibility During Clock‑In
When a guard clocks in, the NGA now displays any assets assigned to their shift.
This ensures the guard knows what to check out before starting work.
Using Data from Asset Tracking
The system retrieves asset details using Asset Tracking endpoints.
This ensures the correct asset information is displayed on the shift and during clock‑in.
Operators can identify:
- Which assets are assigned
- Asset types and details
- Where the guard was working when the asset was used
- Example: a static site vs. mobile/dispatch activity
Visibility in Command Center
Operators can now see what assets a guard has checked out.
From the Guard view, an operator can:
- View the active assets assigned or checked out
- Jump directly to the guard’s Asset Tracking profile
- Manage assets manually when needed
This supports real‑time oversight and improves accountability across operations.
