Navigate Dashboard and Late Asset reports

Learn how to navigate Dashboard and Late Asset reports in Asset Tracking.

Overview

Dashboards are great for seeing what Asset Types you have and their status.

Late Asset reports help to keep track of Assets that are returned late and are currently checked out.

Navigate Dashboard reports

To start using Dashboard reports, log into Asset Tracking. In the navigation menu, select Dashboard.

Enter text into the search bar to locate Asset names and types.

Under Assets By Type, you can see a tree map of all Asset Types. Select any part of the tree map to see more details about a specific Asset Type.

Select the arrows to navigate forward and backward to see more Asset Types. You can also select the Counter drop-down menu to choose several Asset Types that work best for your view.

Download a Dashboard report

Download Dashboard reports making sharing Asset Tracking data with stakeholders easier.

To download a Dashboard report:

Select DOWNLOAD.
To include a cover page with the report, select Include a cover page.
In the ‘Title’ box, enter a title for the file.
In the Format drop-down menu, download your report as a PDF or a PowerPoint.
Select DOWNLOAD.

Your Dashboard report is now downloaded to your device.

Using Dashboard report tiles

Dashboard report tiles are made up of predefined data. Each tile counts the number of Asset Types that meet the predefined data criteria.

Select a tile to see a detailed view of its data:

Late Returns
Late Returns are Assets that are due back and aren’t currently checked in.
The Late Returns tile shows six data details:

Type - Category
Shows the Asset Category.
Type - Manufacturer
Shows the Asset Manufacturer.
Type
Shows the Asset Model Type.
Name
Shows the name of the Asset.
Barcode Label
Shows the Asset barcode.
Status
Shows the current Asset status.

Checked Out Assets
Checked Out Assets are Assets that are checked out and aren’t late.
The Late Returns tile shows six data details:

Type - Category
Shows the Asset Category.
Type - Manufacturer
Shows the Asset Manufacturer.
Type
Shows the Asset Model Type.
Name
Shows the name of the Asset.
Barcode Label
Shows the Asset barcode.
Status
Shows the current Asset status.

Asset Count
Asset Count is the total count of all Assets.
The Asset Count tile shows six data details:

Type - Category
Shows the Asset Category.
Type - Manufacturer
Shows the Asset Manufacturer.
Type
Shows the Asset Model Type.
Name
Shows the name of the Asset.
Barcode Label
Shows the Asset barcode.
Status
Shows the current Asset status.

Check-In ( 24hr )
Check-In ( 24hr ) are Assets checked in within the past 24 hours.
The Check-In ( 24hr ) tile shows five data details:

Transaction
It shows the total number of times the Asset was checked in and checked out in the past 24 hours.
Asset
Shows the name of the Asset.
Bundle
Shows the name of the Bundle that the Asset belongs to.
Person
Shows the name of the person who checked in or checked out the Asset.
Type
Shows the Asset status type.

Check-Out ( 24hr )
Check-Out ( 24hr ) are Assets checked out within the past 24 hours.
The Check-Out ( 24hr ) tile shows five data details:

Transaction
Shows the total number of times the Asset was checked in and checked out in the past 24 hours.
Asset
Shows the name of the Asset.
Bundle
Shows the name of the Bundle that the Asset belongs to.
Person
Shows the name of the person who last used the asset.
Type
Shows the Asset status type.

Suppliers
Suppliers are suppliers of Assets.
The Suppliers tile shows five data details:

Company Name
Shows the name of the Asset supplier.
Contact Name
Shows the name of the contact at the Asset Supplier.
Phone Number
Shows the phone number of the contact at the Asset supplier.
Email
Shows the email address of the contact at the Asset supplier.

Select a row to view or edit Asset Type details.

View predefined data details for Dashboard report tiles

Select the Information icon on a tile to see what predefined data the tile uses.

Using Asset Type filters

Select a filter to see all Asset Types that are related to it:

ASSETS
View all Assets.

ASSET TYPES
View all Asset Types.

ASSET TRANSACTIONS
View all Asset Transactions.

ASSET MANUFACTURER
View all Asset Manufacturers.

ASSET LABELS
View all Asset Labels.

TRANSACTION DETAILS
View all Asset Transaction Details.

ASSET SUPPLIER
View all Asset Suppliers.
ASSET CATEGORY
View all Asset Categories.

Navigate Late Asset reports

To start using Late Asset reports, log into Asset Tracking. In the navigation menu, select Late Assets.
